Some pricing platforms run weekly YouTube shows, partner with high-subscriber influencers, and let personalities set the narrative about which books are "hot." Sometimes those personalities own the books they're pumping.

We don't do that. Comic Indexer has no influencer partnerships, no weekly hype shows, no paid personalities telling you what to buy. Every recommendation is driven by the data, full stop.

When Comic Indexer flags a book as a deal, it's because the adjusted Fair Market Value is higher than the asking price. When we flag a book as a key issue, it's because the metadata says so, not because someone on YouTube said so last week.

Other pricing platforms won't tell you where their numbers come from. We will.

We are a data aggregator, not a data reseller. Comic Indexer surfaces insights derived from these sources; we respect their terms and don't republish raw source data.

What We Intentionally Don't Do

Focus is a feature. Here's what we deliberately chose not to build, and why:

• Collection tracking

  Other tools try to be your collection inventory system. We're not that. Comic Indexer is a decision-making tool for what you're about to buy or sell, not a ledger of what you already own.

• Historical sales databases

  Other tools specialize in decades of CGC sales history. We don't compete there. Comic Indexer is about what's happening in the market right now, for anyone making buying and selling decisions today.

• Multi-collectible scope

  We don't cover Pokemon cards, video games, magazines, or concert posters. Comic books only. Built by comic people, for comic people.

• Editorial "keys" narratives

  We surface key issue information, but we don't manufacture "hot key" hype with commentary. The data tells you what's significant. You decide what to do about it.

Who Comic Indexer Is For
